Dr. Jamaine Johnson, a native of Midland, TX, has served as Interim City Administrator for the City of Sandy Oaks, Texas since January 22, 2026. In this capacity, he is dedicated to delivering responsive municipal services, ensuring transparent operations, and prioritizing the needs and voices of Sandy Oaks residents.

Prior to his appointment as Interim City Administrator, Dr. Johnson served as Court Clerk with the City of Kirby, Executive Intern with the City of Shavano Park, and as a Senior Logistician for 20 years and 7 months in the United States Marine Corps.

Dr. Johnson serves Sandy Oaks residents through responsive governance, enhancing public safety, improving infrastructure, and advancing economic development while maintaining transparent, accountable operations that reflect community priorities.
